Our VES Spring Art Project involves using old CD and DVD discs. If you happen to have any you would like to donate to the project, please contact the VES Office or drop them by the school office. We just need the discs only.

We would like to wish all of our students and their families, along with all of our VISD staff and their families a very Happy New Year!! We hope 2026 is the best year yet for everyone!!

When the dismissal bell rings today and our students leave our campuses, Vernon ISD will officially be on its Christmas Break. VISD staff will return and normal office hours will resume on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, while we will welcome our students back to the classroom on Wednesday, Jan. 7. We hope all of our VISD students and their families, along with all of our VISD family, has a wonderful Christmas Break.

Our 3rd grade students traveled to the Herring Bank Wednesday morning to perform songs from their Christmas program. The students were divided into two groups with both groups giving separate performances. We have an abundance of coats/jackets/hoodies in our Lost and Found. Please stop by the school before Noon Friday and see if any of these items belong to your student. ALL items that go unclaimed will be donated to a local charity.

Our 4th & 5th grade students closed out their Christmas Program by coming together on stage and performing three songs. Their first song is our theme song for the school year, while the second song honors our military veterans.
